Silver Summit Academy is a public, personalized, blended-learning school within the South Summit School District. The Academy provides a fully individualized STEAM- focused (science, technology, engineering, art, math) education for K-12 students. Students at Silver Summit Academy utilize technology paired with face-to-face instruction to reach their individual educational goals. Silver Summit Academy is designed to be different: From its highly flexible interior design to its large maker-space, the goal is to create a school specifically designed to meet the needs of 21st Century Learners.

We know that learning is easier when you have an excellent teacher. That's why most of our educators have achieved an advanced degree in their field. Our faculty are passionate about the subjects they teach, and bring this enthusiasm into their lessons.

Silver Summit Academy is a very rigorous academic experience. Students are encouraged to take ownership of their education and seek to challenge themselves. While every student is different, students who understand the importance of education, have a desire to explore subjects at greater depth and breadth, have a diverse set of academic interests, and are able to self-direct without frequent prompting are likely to find success.

Silver Summit Academy is not an online school. Our students meet weekly attendance requirements and complete their coursework at a steady pace. While we work to personalize schedules, please be aware that students are most successful at our school when they are attending regularly each week.
